I just drove this car, and it handles great. Tons of power and quick off the line, it is a smooth ride and a ton of fun.

I've had my 2007 A3 2.0T for two years (since new), and I absolutely love it. This year you can get the 2.0T with Quattro, which might be interesting. Quattro adds extra weight which can ding performance and fuel economy... I'd normally say you don't need it unless you live where it snows a lot -- but like most turbo front-wheel drive cars the A3 exhibits some torque steer (the wheel pulls to the side under hard acceleration). I think the Quattro would help with that. But either the way the car is an absolute blast to drive.

Jonathon- I have owned my 2008 RS4 for about a year and would comment-first and second are geared low, so you are forced to get through them pretty quickly and most cars off the line take off ahead of you- but they better watch out when you hit third because this baby red lines at about 8450 and you blow their doors off! Fourth, Fifth and even Sixth gear push you into the leather Ricaro's with enough force to get you going! With the "S" feature engaged, this car rivals the sound of any meaty American muscle and has the smooth lines to look like a sleeper- and for me- with the Titanium pkg on my dark blue exterior- rivals any other on the road! The value you get as apposed to an M3 is unrivaled in my opinion!

Car Brakes: How Do You Know When to Change Them?

By Zach Bowman For those who suffer a daily commute through heavy traffic, your vehicle's braking system can bring thousands of pounds of metal, plastic and empty Starbucks cups to a stop hundreds of times before you get to work. It goes without saying that these pieces wear out, but they do so slowly, meaning you may not notice they need attention until ...

Read The Review

By Alison Lakin, Associate Editor DriverSide Overview In its last year of production, we can’t help but feel a pang of regret that the wonderfully aggressive Audi RS4 sedan is going to be sent out to pasture to make way for the RS6. Lucky Europeans have had the pleasure of driving this car in Avant form since 1999, but it has only been available ...
